Douglas Dunn, D.D.S.

Meet Dr. Dunn
My ability to be of service to others is part of my core being and purpose in life. As a dentist, I have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people who have given me a different and unique sense of what is important in the world. It is very satisfying to be able to change a patient's smile and dental condition through the use of the newest cosmetic and implant procedures. I truly appreciate the loyalty my patients have shown toward me over the years. Some have left the area but continue with their routine dental care in our office even though they need to drive several hours to keep appointments with me. When I see the grateful smile of a long-time patient, I know I've done my job well.
Education and Continuing Education
- Undergraduate Degree - University of California at Riverside
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery - University of the Pacific in San Francisco
- Master of Arts in Counseling/Psychology - Pacifica Graduate Institute
- PhD in Clinical Psychology - Pacifica Graduate Institute
I attend continuing education classes, both locally and across the state, to keep current with the newest innovations in dentistry. My advanced training in psychology has also helped me to better communicate and relieve any anxiety my patients may experience. At the end of the day, I want my patients to feel relaxed and secure in the care they've been provided.

Outside the Office
I was born in Riverside, raised in Fontana, and have lived in Claremont, California, for the past 35 years. My wife, Jackie, and I have been happily married for 50 years. We have four adult children, Andrea, Lisa, Steve, and Kathryn, six grandsons, and three granddaughters. In my free time, I enjoy being with friends and family, skiing, golf, travel, books, and going to the theater.
My serious life passions have been my family and helping others whenever possible. I have participated in youth activities as a soccer coach, in Boy Scouts as a scoutmaster, as an Indian Guide leader, and I served on the Personnel Commission in the Rialto School District. These positions are a great part of my commitment to the community.
